Watford Win the North West Federation Cup – Neetha wins Best Digital Image

The final of the North West Fed against Field End Photographic Society was held at Amersham Barn Hall on Saturday 22nd February. This competition pits 12 clubs in the North West area of London against each other in a series of rounds. Both clubs had won 3 first-round matches and then the semi-final to reach the final. 9 digital and 9 prints from each club were pitted against each other and in the digital section, Watford scored 169 points to Field End’s 166. In the print section Watford scored 175.5 points against Field End’s 173 meaning that Watford won with a total score of 344.5 against 339.

Many different authors represented us throughout all the rounds so it was a real team effort. It is the first time since 1990 that we have won this, which goes to show how far we have come in recent years.
