Prime Lens Challenge in St Albans
Despite the current restrictions, we managed to run this year’s Prime Lens Challenge in St Albans on Saturday 11th July. This competition is a bit of fun and the rules are that members can attend anytime on Saturday with one camera and one fixed focal length lens and take the best picture they can. No zoom lenses are allowed so it encourages the use of feet and visual imagination. There is no restrictions on subject matter, just that the image must have been taken in and around St Albans City Centre on the day.
We managed social distancing by staying in small groups and keeping 2 metres apart. The day was well attended and we look forward to seeing the images when we return in September. Last year’s Prime Lens Challenge was won by Patrick Seehanach with Me and My Music.
